Hattrick for Robin Quaison at Mainz, Swedish attack suddenly doesn't look that bad going into the Euro's this summer.

Hopefully him along with Isak and Kulusevski will all be allowed to play a big part.

no goals today but Sebastian Andersson has done an admirable job at Union this season. Yet will be probably Berg and Guidetti in the squad well under other coaches it would

Sebastian is doing really well and since he was bought to IFK Norrköping by the national coach Janne Andersson he might just pip Guidetti. Hopefully anyway.

J Andersson likes his old guard thou so a real risk he will stick with Seb Larsson, Marcus Berg and Granqvist and waste Kulusevski and Isak just like Zlatan was wasted in the 2002 WC.

Have never understood the Guidetti hype, poor goal record but managers always want give him a go.

He has just slipped into mid table Bundesliga 2 team

He was quite good when young, stood out in the Swedish U-21's where he looked more mature and ready than the other players.

By all accounts he is a popular player among his teammates wherever he plays and he works really hard when he plays.

Never lived up to the hype thou after that fantastic season at Feyenoord and after that stomach/intestinal inflammation that kept him out of football for a year (and almost forced him to retire) at the very worst possible time in his development followed by knee surgery he's never been the same.

Well the Brighton Watford game also gone in our favour. Good set of results so far for the villa.

Cracking finish from mariappa for the equaliser

Expecting a shock at the etihad today though with West ham getting a win, really wouldn't surprise me

Inter - Milan tonight.

Zlatan back with Milan against his former club Inter.  Will be fun. Hopefully he's recovered from the flu he's been suffering from.

Actually watched this derby at San Siro with Zlatan in both clubs a few years apart. The one where he played for Milan was more fun, partly because he scored the only goal and partly because Inter who was the home team have one of the best intro songs around.

Not waterlogged pitch just "bad weather"

Not sure. safety for spectators in mind. Buses, trains, not safe to drive. I am up in Lancaster and the wind has been horrific.
