They're 99.9999% safe anyway. In any case playing out a drab draw v us would mathematically confirm it.

Staying up on 35 pts ? - can't see it we need to win at West Ham

It would put Bournemouth out of the equation and mean Watford would have to win at Arsenal (they could still stay up losing there as Demi has pointed out).

My hunch before tonight's two games was 4 points would be enough and seen nothing to suggest that won't be the case. Would help if Arsenal can get an early goal or two though as longer it goes 0-0 you sense Watford will fancy their chances of winning the game.

Are we convinced Arsenal can do the job at Watford?

They looked dead today, one eye on the cup final. Not good.

If's and But's (updated)

It's happening again!!!

Watford to lose to Man City ✅

Bournemouth to lose to Southampton ✅

Aston Villa to draw to Arsenal - win ✅

17 - Aston Villa - 34 points

18 - Watford - 34 points

19 - Bournemouth - 31 points

Barring a miracle West Ham are safe. They are not that much better than us. We will want it more and that extra bit of desire needs to get us the 3 points. At the full time whistle on Sunday both teams in the pitch will be safe!

Or a rotated squad after playing one of their hardest games of the season a few days ago? They will beat Watford I'm sure of it, just to send deeney down
