It''ll be really interesting to see the statistical properties of this trial.

I read 43,500 people tested across 6 countries with no safety concerns raised. Higher than expected success rate at >90%.

Why?

25k get drug

25k control

90days later, say 100 in drug group had covid vs 1000 in control group.

Hey presto, "more than" 90% effective

What is the housing situation of the respective groups (size of, family members, of co-habitants, how did they all behave)? Socializing? Work? Then we have age, co-morbidities etc. This is a very difficult study with lots of things to control for. One would hope that this information makes it into the public domain. It is all too easy to find the answer you seek, when you design the study/analysis.

Hence an eyebrow should be raised... and that's before we consider the profit motive at play and the long history of pharma shenanigans.

How is this related to the comment that doing the study across 6 very different and diverse counties is “just the start of the problems”?

Theres lots of unknowns because this is unique situation where a worldwide vaccine is needed quickly, however, it’s in not in Pfizer’s interest to market a poor quality product in the medium or long term.

My share portfolio is up 11% today.

It went down 50% in March so still a long way to go!

Errr... because most of the outlined issues will differ from country to country given the different cultures therein

Regarding product quality: The pharma companies are requiring governments to indemnify them with our tax dollars/pounds.

Actual data they took is what really matters. We'll all be injected with this by the time most of that can be released, so I do hope more than the clowns in SAGE group et al. are going to be given access to and taking a hard/fair look at this.
