Popular Post mjmooney Posted February 18, 2022 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted February 18, 2022 (edited) I just couldn't be arsed to dismantle the flaws in his reply. So I played conciliatory nice guy: Quote Conspiracy theorist was only one of the options, but the 'dictatorship' comment was nonsense. I'm as suspicious of this democracy-trashing government as the next man, but not in the field of vaccines - I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for the scientists who have developed them. That said, I'm not suggesting compulsory vaccination or anything like it, and I sadly accept that it has not been made a condition for frontline health service work (although I think it should be) - but I stand by my statement that no-one with a conscience should knowingly put vunerable people at risk by NOT getting vaccinated. It's beyond me that anyone would even consider it. Be responsible and just get the jab. I apologise for my rather intemperate language, and I agree that we should avoid divisive argument. But it just makes me so cross. Edited February 18, 2022 by mjmooney
bickster Posted February 18, 2022 Moderator Share Posted February 18, 2022 Invermectin, about as much use against COVID as dog biscuits. Quote Efficacy of Ivermectin Treatment on Disease Progression Among Adults With Mild to Moderate COVID-19 and ComorbiditiesThe I-TECH Randomized Clinical Trial Key Points Question Does adding ivermectin, an inexpensive and widely available antiparasitic drug, to the standard of care reduce the risk of severe disease in patients with COVID-19 and comorbidities? Findings In this open-label randomized clinical trial of high-risk patients with COVID-19 in Malaysia, a 5-day course of oral ivermectin administered during the first week of illness did not reduce the risk of developing severe disease compared with standard of care alone. Meaning The study findings do not support the use of ivermectin for patients with COVID-19. Jama Network

My mom came here in September and my wife had it... So I'm now sat in the corner wearing a mask, can't leave the house so they go out all day with the baby, have to get take aways rather than restaurants, maybe with the weather being shit it's not that bad a thing Would say the symptoms are like a weak cold (hence why I thought hay fever) Got to isolate for 10 days, if I pass a test on day 7 I can stop, daughter can't go to kindergarten so while I think officially I have to work from home during isolation that's not going to happen Good luck mate. A few folks at work got omicron the past few weeks. Thankfully everyone was vaxxed and so nobody was hospitalized and they recovered quick. It hit their kids the hardest Taking vitamin C and Zinc while you have it is meant to help*. Speedy recovery to you and all the very best! *but doesnt seem to sadly. https://newsroom.clevelandclinic.org/2021/02/25/can-vitamin-c-and-zinc-help-fight-covid-19/ Anyways they cant hurt, all the best! They can go crazy all they like, everyone sees them for what they are. Its on them not me. There is a limit to my compassion. The willfully stupid and those who dont care they may kill others through their absurd child like cartoon world views have broken that limit. Let them look like the fools they are. I dont need to listen to their prattle. Edited February 19, 2022 by ciggiesnbeer

Ordinarily they would be slow acting yes, but mixed with a bleach chaser and a strong torch light up the arse you really can see an immediate difference.
