Regards days off work. The official protocol is that the funeral will be a national Day of mourning. However, it is down to the discretion of businesses as to whether staff are to have the day off. If the funeral is on a week day it will NOT be an official national holiday. If it is in a weekend then again it will NOT be a national holiday, as per operation London Bridge plans.
