She's got a bigger jaw than me, and I've got a big jaw.

The stupid hat.

She usurped Paul Jones' R2 blues programme.

And yes, the voice.

(I concede that she seems like a nice person).

Tom Jones, on the other hand, has a pretty damn fine voice (especially for his age). But I suspect he's a dick.

There are lots of singers who have technically excellent voices, but whose music I can't stand. Tom Jones is one, Celine Dion another. Most of the stuff I like the singer couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.

This is supposed to be a thread for unpopular opinions. What you’ve managed to do here is post something that 99% of VT would agree with. Possibly for the first time ever ;)

Any post in this thread with a like should be deleted as too popular.

Hmm, hoisted by my own petard.

That isn't an opinion, it's factually inaccurate

It's entirely subjective and depends how you measure it...

Most fan arrests, most sons and daughters doubling up as nieces and nephews, a trillion trophies in their stadium, most crumbling stands in said stadium, most empty seats, most times consecutively avoiding relegation to the third tier by some absurd stroke of luck and most importantly; most drinks consumed in town....(you know the next bit)

There is no place in a modern world for Birthday cards.

Send me a text or buy me a gift, not this cardboard detritus.

I don't like them, I don't like giving them and I don't like receiving them.

Without a card how else would your Nan send you a cheque for £1.20

ah yes the days of having to write dozens of thank you letters to Grandparents Aunts and uncles for a £1 Woolworths voucher

mind you , back when i were a lad  , for a £1 you could buy about 3 kg of pick n mix  , long as you ate quite  a lot of them before the time came to weigh them :)
