Will be at the Leicester gig too, but the Y theatre, who plays at the YMCA?! It was December 2012, with Michio Kurihara, around the time of the Joe Volk split who was on the tour too. Set list was; Huge, Rainbow, Pink, Vanilla, Statement, Angel, Cosmos, Flood At the time Angel was unreleased and had this almost mythical status in their live sets (kinda like Lightning Bolt's Horsepower, which they played for years but never released), but the highlight was undoubtedly Flood. It was like a religious experience or something. Sick, see you there. I'll be in front of Wata.

chrisp65
I’ve gone by sort of country of origin, I’ve tried to only go for 2019 albums with two obvious exceptions.... Australia: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Ghosteen Denmark: Jonas Munk / Nicklaus Sorensen - Always Already Here England: Snapped Ankles - Stunning Luxury England / Bahrain: Flamingods - Levitation India: Atomic Rooster - Disco Roar - ok so its a 70’s /80’s re release but it gets India on the list Jamaica: Lee Scratch Perry - Rainford USA: Khruangbin - Hasta El Cielo (Dub) Wales: Carwyn Ellis & Rio 18 - Joia! Mr - Oesoedd Zefur Wolves - Truth Is In The Stars Zefur Wolves - Zefur Wolves (2015) - so, its 4 years old, but soooo rare I didn’t think it existed and I only bought it this year, so I’m having it Patrick Jones - Rebel Pslams support your local music industry Pick of the bunch? Carwyn Ellis. Zefur Wolves. Jonas Munk. In that order.

Chindie Posted December 2, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted December 2, 2019 Tool - Fear Innoculum. It perhaps isn't what you expect of Tool, having gone slightly closer to prog and away from stoner metal, but it's excellent. Gets better with every listen. And it was never going to be anyone else really. Special mention to Ghost. An EP Satanic 60s psychedelia mixed with their usual campy rock style. Great.

GarethRDR
With the caveat that I haven't had a chance to listen to Colossal Squid's "Swungert" yet and when I get round to it, I'm 99.9% certain my answer is going to be Colossal Squid's "Swungert", in no particular order here's some stuff: Teeth Of The Sea - Wraith Tool - Fear Inoculum worriedaboutsatan - Revenant 65daysofstatic - replicr Jambinai - ONDA Right Hand Left Hand - Zone Rouge Employed To Serve - Eternal Forward Motion NYOS - Now. Refused - War Music Brutus - Nest Ithaca - The Language Of Injury Idiot Pilot - Blue Blood American Football - American Football Black Futures - Never Not Nothing
