Villarocker
Bossed it tonight and against some real units in that Watford midfield. Best game tonight. Please keep it up Marvellous and you'll become a fan favourite with performances like that.

Marshalled the midfield well and managed to bring the ball out of tight areas well. I thought he worked well with Drinkwater and Luiz when he came on tbh Both Drinkwater and Luiz were playing deeper than him in a ‘quarterback’ role. Nakamba was winning the ball with his back to goal and laying it back to the quarterback to rake a long pass away to the wide players. Was working well all match.

I agree, Drinkwater calms the situation and is more disciplined in his positional sense he doesn't get dragged all over the pitch.

Stockport_Villain
Just needs to be more confident in himself. It’s coming and tonight’s performance is a great step in the right direction.

If the wide players improve their crossing, we’d have scored a few more tonight. That Samatta is decent in the air so hopefully if this is a tactic moving forward, we have a player who gets on the end of the crosses. El Ghazi just looks out of place up there on his own. Villa87
Top draw tonight. If he is consistent, we have quite the player here.
JAMAICAN-VILLAN
They ALL seemed MUCH better on the ball tonight, a weak point as we all know, and something Smith has been banging on about. Is the message and training finally getting through? happy for him tonight, even when he lost possession he was right back in there to get it back! Passing was much better, all round good performance.
Mantis
Glad it wasn't just me that thought he was immense tonight.
Keener window-cleaner
Voted him MOTM today, was immense in midfield, our only midfielder who does the defensive work properly and can always be relied on that he will track back, won so many duels but most of all he was making more forward runs than I have seen him do before. A Kanté display today! Keep improving Nakamba!

sne
Great game tonight. Did all the things he usually does well but without those things that usually puts him in trouble. Excellent!
HalfTimePost
He presses like that and drives the ball forward like he did towards the end of the first half for the rest of the season. We stay up. It was effective as ****. When he slowed down or held off, it showed . He's clearly capable of it, if he's fit enough and keen enough to do that for the second half of the season then we're on to something. Not saying him singlehandedly will keep us up, but it broke up play and got the rest of our team in their faces a bit, it will open channels for the more gifted footballers like Jack, John and Luiz to do their thing. If he can't do it for the next 16 games then we need to sign a second player who can make up the difference when he tires. So important.

brummybloke
Did what we all thought he should be doing. Far better from him today. When we have 4 or 5 players fighting for everything we are far better and so our our results. Good work today nakamba keep it up please.

The majority of our good performances have come with him in the side. That's not a coincidence imo. MOTM for me
