Villanbee
We look much better already but we are still giving the ball away too much. Played some nice stuff at times. Tomas got done for their goal. Dragged across then turned on a point, letting them get their shot off. Good finish as it was.
MattVillaPortsmouth
I’m pretty sure they all are wearing armbands, but looks like some have gone under the sleeves. on the game, we grew into it then gave away a goal at bad time, good finish but we do give away the ball/chances a lot. Positive signs though, this is a strong Chelsea and we haven’t looked a million miles away from them (as we have done previously), bench also looks useful. uTV
wishywashy
Haven't looked out of our depth (like we did so often last season) really, took a moment of magic with a very good shot to break us. Promising signs. Still need to work on not giving the ball away so often under pressure, it's been our #1 issue for a while now.

wishywashy
Shame we couldn't get a goal (thought Daly had scored there!) but a really promising performance for our toughest fixture of the season, evenly matched at Chelsea away is seriously impressive. Villanbee
Wow. What a difference. Night and day from anything that we delivered last season. We played some great stuff and can consider ourselves very unlucky not to get a point.

ferguson1
Firstly the armbands were worn out of respect for Gary Shaw but some clearly were too big and were slipping off. No lack of respect but if they don’t fit, you can’t wear it. Immensely proud of that performance and probably deserved a point in the end, especially on that second half display. Good shape to us throughout the game. Some impressive debuts there, D’Angelo, Tomas, Kearns and Grant all doing well. Looking forward to what we do against perhaps weaker opponents because on tonight’s display, we’re look like a real team. A lot to be pleased about despite the defeat.
