CVByrne
Why is there no reporting of the sell on clause now the Luiz deal complete? Athletic normally on the ball and it's not in their article on the deal completing
PaulC
It's a big loss but it's not the same as selling Grealish as I think Tielemans can do what Luiz did and if we sign another player that csn fill that role too we will be okay

Popular Post bannedfromHandV
What a fantastic signing he turned out to be. I was there for his first goal in the defeat to Bournemouth, what a strike that was and whilst we didn’t see that kind of goal regularly he went on to contribute massively and after some spells out of form and out of the side, it all came together for him under Unai. Over the past 18 months he’s been pivotal to our success, a good goals and assists return including some belters like the two corners, the free kick home to spurs and his goal away at spurs (my personal favourite due to the nonchalance of the flick finish). It’s a nice rarity to not suffer the ignominy of seeing him pulling on another PL team shirt, at least not for now. Juventus is a great move for him (and Alisha) and a good indicator of our own progression as a club over the past couple of years. It’s a shame his form tailed off after coming back from suspension this season but he leaves with nothing but the best of wishes from me and I’m sure the majority of the fanbase. Cheers Dougie!
jjaacckk91
Sad to see this in other football. Only consolation is that he hasn't gone to another premier league club. Good luck Dougie

Instead of paying us an extra £10m or more for him, which we'd not get all of as we'd have to give some of it to City, instead take that £10m off the cost of the other two coming our way.
