Keyblade
Brilliant. It's his shirt to lose now. Rashica, Traore, it doesn't matter.
Dave-R
Played a blinder today, made a couple of bad moves but cant hold that against him, hes looking like hes getting better because of the work hes putting into his football.

Tommo_b
Played okay, felt he should’ve done better on his decision making.
nepal_villan
I've been a big critic of him. He is proving me wrong. Like Luiz, he is coming into his own and is playing an important role for the team.
lexicon
Excellent work rate, some brilliant passing/crossing and a determination not to lose his place. Great job Trez, keep it up!
Xela
This is what competition for places gives you. He's seen Traore come in and has stepped up.
WooJung
I am impressed at how well he works around his own limitations. His assist for Watkins third was brilliant, I've got to say, can't think of any player I'd rather have attacking the far post on a set piece! samjp26
He really works his arse off for the team, definitely in a position where it is his shirt to lose
Farlz
Fair bloody play Trez, superb performance tonight. Work rate unquestionable and put in some delightful balls.
Dave-R
Hes certainly looking like hes loving his football at the moment at Villa and that's why you can't take him out for Traore while his work is at that level.

NurembergVillan Posted October 4, 2020 Moderator Share Posted October 4, 2020 As fans, we learned **** all from watching Petrov improve dramatically overnight between his first and second seasons. Trez, Luiz, McGinn (in Prem terms) - they all look bang at it now. 1
Zhan_Zhuang
Trezeguet did brilliantly tonight, his work-rate is high. He took some time to understand the PL and settle, post-lockdown he (and Luiz) were our standout performers and I'm glad he is proving his quality. supermon
He was excellent, motm performance along with others tonight, great asset to have in the team, he's improving, can definitely score and his crossing has gone up a notch.. TrentVilla Posted October 4, 2020 Moderator Share Posted October 4, 2020 Nobody works harder in training or on the pitch. Improved so so much last season and has carried on improving this season. I think he has a lot more in his locker as well.

bobzy
Mentioned it toward the end of last season, but his back-post work is absolutely phenomenal. All stems from his work rate and pace, but the amount of "loose" balls he gets to and makes something of is remarkable. He had a blinder today and long may it continue. Not the greatest at tackling, but he was there to attempt it in the first place so **** it - well done Trez
