useless
They're wishing him luck, congratulating him on his move, and hoping he does well enough to get a move to an even bigger club because they seem to think that they will get a percentage of the transfer fee. The Brazilians are just peculiar enough with their naming I was hoping it might be Westley when my mate told me this was happening. That would have opened up a world of opportunity: the Dread Pirate, never go up against a Brazilian when death is on the line (goals are on the line, the game is on the line), not left-footed either, as you wish, etc... New_Hope
Wow....totally out of the blue this one of indeed true (which it seems it is due to well regarded journos etc.). Just shows we know nothing of who we will get. Looks like we are replacing the Scottish Cafu with the Brazillian Mcinally!

MaVilla
Interesting about the work permit, technically he wouldn't get one as he's not a full Brazil international. But playing in the champions league and the high fee is likely to provide all the points needed to get one. Tomaszk
Quote Bayern Munich scout Club Brugge striker Wesley Moraes According to reports from Belgium, Bayern Munich were among clubs scouting Brazilian striker Wesley Moraes against Monaco on Wednesday. Bayern Munich continued their Champions League campaign this week with a 2-0 win away from home over AEK Athens. The Bavarians didn’t exactly convince against the Greek side, but ultimately walked away with an important three points. However, their match against AEK on Tuesday was not the only Champions League clash the Bavarians kept a close eye on. Wednesday’s draw between Club Brugge and AS Monaco reportedly also attracted Bayern’s attention. According to a report from Belgian paper Het Belang van Limburg (subscription required), Bayern scouts were in attendance for Club Brugge’s match on Wednesday. Like several scouts from many of Europe’s other top clubs, the Bayern representatives were there to watch Brazilian striker Wesley Moraes. The scouts apparently left pleased with what they saw after the 21-year-old scored his side’s only goal of the match with a towering, expertly-placed header. Standing at six-foot-three, such headers are not a rarity for the Brazilian. He’s dominant in the air — not only thanks to his height but also due to his immense strength to hold off defenders. Wesley can also do plenty of damage with the ball at his feet, however. He’s surprisingly nimble for such a big man, with good decision-making and fine distribution. His finishing could use some work, but he certainly has the ability to poach a goal from nothing. He is, in some ways, similar to Miroslav Klose in his style of play. Of course, the Brazilian has a long way to go before reaching the level of the all-time World Cup leading goalscorer, but the potential is certainly there. He already possesses a more imposing physical presence than Klose. If Bayern Munich are genuinely interested, a deal would not be impossible to complete. According to HBVL‘s report, Wesley’s Club Brugge contract has a clause that will allow him to leave if an offer from a “big club” surfaces. Bayern would no doubt meet the requirements. He’d be a fine addition to the squad while Robert Lewandowski is still fit and firing, especially given the club’s emphasis on signing young prospects rather than proven stars. The Brazilian has really burst onto the scene this year, and would be a great option for the Bavarians if they can sign him for a decent price. With both Lewandowski and Sandro Wagner over the 30-year-old mark, Bayern will need to keep their eyes out for a player to lead the line in the future. If he continues to develop, Wesley could be that guy. Bit about Bayern looking at him last year.
nnock1984
With john Percy reporting this, it seems very much on as he generally on the money! Exciting signing, but a word of caution. The Belgian league is worse than the championship and he has scored far less than Tammy - could this be seen as a downgrade?
