He's bigging it up, about how betting increases engagement, he thinks it's a good thing. I think if we get a nice offer from a betting company, we'll take it. Sports betting is just starting to become legal in America across the country, so it's a new market here for teams and leagues to find revenue. I would assume Edens is referring to that, and that it won't have any impact on sponsors for the kits.
Khizzy
W88. Ugh, another bloody betting company. I knew it. Can't really buy the next shirt then.

Popular Post wilko154
Don't care they are a betting company, Don't care that Wolves had them last season Don't care how it looks on the shirt. It's a record breaking deal for the club, it's bringing money into the club a year after we couldn't even afford to pay our tax bills. The club is being run properly again by people who know how to run businesses right. Well done to everyone involved. 16

Daweii
We're allowed a sleeve sponsor too, right? I haven't watched much Premier League since we were away, but I did notice a front-of-shirt sponsor and some advertising on their sleeve. I wonder if we have a sleeve sponsor lined up too. To be fair, pretty much any main sponsor deal agreed by a Premier League club is 'record breaking' nowadays, it just means it's more money than we've been paid for sponsorship before. Would be interesting to compare to last years deal to see how much extra being in the Premier League really gets you.

I don’t think anyone would disagree that we need to go where the money is and if it’s a betting company so be it, however I and a lot of others will hate the fact it’s a gambling company and hate the fact the have a god awful logo. It looks shite and it looks like we are just selling out to casinos, who are utter scum. But, that’s just the way it is. Hate the sin love the sinner. I believe Wolves deal last season was worth £5 million. That said it was some guy on Twitter replying to our tweet about the deal so probably bollocks. The Fun Factory
Personally I for one, welcome our additional chinese overlords. It might be enough to balance McCormack's time at the club on the spreadsheet. Edited June 6, 2019 by The Fun Factory
