Chindie Posted August 8, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted August 8, 2019 I worry we'll regret not getting another striker.
ml1dch
Irrespective of what Smith says, I'm still sure that Simon Dawkins will be confirmed at around half past five.

rbcuk
Good business this window, but needed another striker
TRO
I think they have decided to keep their powder dry until January and revisit it again. We have to keep all these players happy and Match fit too......We have done good business IMO.
Skruff
More then happy with this window. I think Davies and Kodjia are decent backup options. Could do with another wide player though, now that Green is out on loan.
bannedfromHandV
Oh well, just the 12 new signings then and the greatest summer anyone has known for at least a decade, in all honesty much longer. Let's keep the focus on that instead of worrying about appeasing the deadline day fanboys.

wilko154
I wouldn't believe this myself, Villa Report have shown themselves to be nothing but a rumour mill during this transfer window. 1
Smartin
How on earth are we going to fill another 30 pages now?! Cheers Deano. So, Totti was pretty good wasn't he? 1

Jareth
Can we still get loans and 'loans-to-buy' after today?
useless
So for our strikers we're relying on a player a player who's only scored twice for us in forty appearances, a striker who's never played in the top flight, and has long periods out of the game, and another who is new to the country, and wasn't even prolific in the Belgium league. The idea of Wesley and Davis is that they hold the play up and bring the attacking midfielders into play to take the goal-scoring burden. We have Grealish, McGinn, El Ghazi, Trezeguet & Jota to all aid the striker.
