HanoiVillan Posted Saturday at 16:23 Share Posted Saturday at 16:23 He was really, really good. One thing though, even though it wouldn't have counted I wish he'd had a better hit at that chance from Digne's pull-back in the second half, he never really looks like scoring any more. Not to take away from a fine performance mind you.
osmark86 Posted Saturday at 16:25 Share Posted Saturday at 16:25 Very pleased with that performance from JJ. He constantly threatened down his side and should have had an assist from Rogers' botched effort. More of that please!

GeordieVillan Posted Saturday at 21:14 Share Posted Saturday at 21:14 Unai clearly believes in him. That performance was more like it today. Our left side looks as good as ever with him and Digne, and Rogers drifting across to join in.

No doubt tellling him how important his contribution, towards the team, was today. It's what a young, potential star wants to hear. Once this kid finds the necessary self - confidence to bring out more of his abundance of talent, then, believe me, the sky's the limit.

He's young, the last thing he wanted was to come off! If he wasn't " Interested, " under this manager, he wouldn't be playing.
Andy_10 Posted Sunday at 10:12 Share Posted Sunday at 10:12 The driving forward with the ball at their feet that Ramsey & Rogers do is great to watch. Horrifying for opposition defenders, but great for Villa fans.
Tom13
A very poor cameo. One overhit pass which was simple to make, and a finish with no conviction. Has to improve.
supermon
He'll learn from that, had too much time but once he gets one in reckon that'll really kick start Ramsey
YLN
Just as well we weren't at 0-0. That was a terrible attempt
gwi1890
Overthinking in front of goal at the moment at one point 99% of the time you’d back him to smash that in but recently not so much. It will come with time.
villa4europe
Surprised by the lack of finish, was expecting him to open it up (KW) and just pass it in to the far corner, if it was 0-0 maybe he does, almost showing off as the game was dead he went for selling the dink Thought he did well though, full of running, should be starting over bailey
avfc1982am
Might be controversial but I honestly think he's stagnated at the moment. A decent player on his day but think he'd be someone I'd be looking to upgrade on next summer unless he ups his level.
BleedClaretAndBlue
Terrible finish at the end there , as seen often with players with too much time. Still needs to find some rhythm. Definitely would start him against Bournemouth for that reason alone. He was looking like getting back towards his best at Fulham.
mikeyp102
Should’ve scored at the end, but that aside when he runs with the ball he is so hard to stop. Still some gears to go, but he’ll be back to his best soon enough.
gilbertoAVFC
People in this thread don't seem to really understand fitness and rhythm. He'll be fine a couple of games. We've had it with Watkins, we've had it with Diego Carlos. He's also had basically a year out. He'll come good.
