I thought he was good but I generally think abandoning playing out from the back made us a worse team (I'm not blaming Hause, just an observation of how we set up without Mings). It's your standard risk vs reward scenario but I don't think we've got the players to play direct.
Vive_La_Villa
How did he get on? Is Konsa injured? You could argue our two first choice centre halves are both out. Some fans criticised us signing 4 centre halves but the next 3 weeks could show it was an important move.

Every Premier League club needs 4 centre backs, don’t forget we have Chester too, an enbarrassment of riches at centre back. It’s just the other end that we are lacking but I expect Smith to sort it in January Edited December 15, 2019 by sir_gary_cahill

Don’t forget we are a newly promoted team, we have an England international (Mings), an England u21 international (Konsa, Smith has gone on record saying he thinks he will play for England), a Belgian u21 international (Engels) and a former England u21 international (Hause) and a Welsh international (Chester). I think we’re in very good shape at centre back

I thought Hause actually did try to play out the back at times, but he still cleared it out much more than Mings usually does.

I agree with you on both points. And there have been several occasions when Mings should have put it in row z.
Keyblade
Looked better than Konsa imo. It's great that we have 2 left footed CBs. Not too many clubs can say the same.

Who do we have up top to win those balls? Hause was serviceable, nothing more.
Farlz
He's not very good. His constant long balls that go right to the opposition does my head in.
HeyAnty
Konsa is better than this guy. Chester is also. That’s all I’ll say

Villan4Life
He's nowhere near Premier League level standard There is a reason why Wolves let him go as he always has mistakes in him and hasn't improved that much since they signed him from Wycombe. Both West Ham & Birmingham City released him from their academies before Wycombe picked him up as even they both deemed him not good enough.
