Popular Post dont_do_it_doug.
I'm glad this has been received so well. Even if he turns out to be not quite up to scratch for a regular first team spot it is fantastic value. I think he has the attributes to be a proper modern, forward thinking centre half. Who also happens to be exceptional in the air. I think whatever faults he has are coachable. It's important to remember that at centre half he was playing out of position as a left footer. So clearly some of that coaching stuck, because I thought he was instrumental alongside Mings during that run. If it wasn't for the knock I think he'd have kept his place, whether over Tuanzebe or Taylor. I also think he is, now the dust has settled, a better left back then Neil Taylor. He has a role here. Whether that turns into a more regular thing or not is down to his application, because he couldn't ask for a better teacher in John Terry. IMO. Fairy In Boots
I like him, whether or not he holds down a permanent spot IDK but I can see him 5 years from now 120 games under his belt for us a solid player that is part of a strong squad.

Depends on the deposit generally - some are 15-20 years but some can be 25-30 (or higher in mine and Mrs Stewies case, although it's now below 30...) alreadyexists Posted June 18, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted June 18, 2019 (edited) Didn’t realise he’s represented England at two age groups with 19 caps for under 20 and under 21s. He was in the side that won the Toulon tournament back in 2016 when he was 20/21. Played a good number of games for Wolves but fell out of favour. Their loss is our gain, we’ve got ourselves a good young CB who has years to get better. As said above, if anyone can teach him how to be a good CB it’s John Terry. Keyblade
Am I the only one that wants to see him play LB? He's big, he's quick, has a great eye for a pass/through ball, good control and touch. Not sure about his crossing but he's got it all for a LB and he was great for us there.

TRO
Personally, I didn't see too much difference between him and Axel....in terms of being miserly at the back. I think he is underrated.

I think he is underrated. I’ve posted pretty much the same thing somewhere else. Only reason Axel replaced him was because he got injured. There’s not much between them but as Axel is right footed it gave us a better balance.
