villa89
I was sure he was coming off but it was Conor instead and then after that McGinn looked a lot better. Maybe playing the full match will help him shed the beer belly.
ozvillafan Posted July 22, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted July 22, 2020 Thought that was his best game since the return. Still some ring rust, but he was busting a gut to get forward and took a couple of shots and his passing and ball retention was better.
It's Your Round
He’s slowly getting back to the Ginny we all know and love.
villalad21
His long range passing is so underrated. Always seem to give the perfect ball to Jack.
sne
Looked heavy and sluggish in the first half but much brighter in the second. Hope he wasn't pulled in for a doping check after the game

Genie
I thought he looked a lot brighter than previous weeks which is great news.
The_Steve
I think him and Jack are closer to peak fitness so hence the change in form. He wasn’t perfect but he also looked more lively as the game went on.

Rolta
Having him back has been really important. We missed him. His work rate, his bum shield special move, his quality. It would be so good to see him get a goal on Sunday (goes without saying perhaps).
Laughable Chimp
What has happened to his shooting? Aside from that solid shot last week at Arsenal which was unfortunately straight at the keeper, he's shooting has been incredibly bad since the restart. Overall, I don't think its a controversial statement to say that his form has dropped drastically and it could at the end be beneficial for us as we can keep him, but I am very concerned at how he's seemed so unrecognizable. I don't think its a fitness issue either. Edited July 26, 2020 by Laughable Chimp

Vive_La_Villa
Can’t underestimate how much we’ve missed his big arse. Had he not got injured I reckon we’d have already been safe.
