Question marks over at least a couple of others IMO as well, Liverpool's first for one.
Delphinho123
I really want Nyland to do well. He looks to have a great attitude and all the attributes to be a decent keeper for us. He just needs to iron out the mistakes.

We were as good as them but we gave them two totally bizarre goals early on. Can you imagine if Nyland gave away a penalty like that? But I really rate Heaton, it just shows every goalkeeper makes mistakes.

If it was Nyland there'd have been another 50 pages to his thread!

Heaton was a close second for motm that game. The team was truly awful.

I thought after that as poor as we played, they hadn't created any clear cut chances apart from the ones we gifted them (all 3).

Condimentalist
Yeah it's certainly his shirt to lose at the moment - whether we bring anyone else in or not. He's been v good when called upon so far this season.
Dr_Pangloss
Played well, been one of his biggest detractors but looked very competent and assured tonight, like a different player to the one we saw last season.

DCJonah
I have thought he was abysmal in the past and needed replacing. Fair play he was excellent today. Looks a different player
VillaChris
Fair play to him, was fantastic tonight. His handling and decision making on crosses has really improved considering how bad he was at it in the championship.

lexicon
Yeah don't need to sign another keeper. Funny how he looks good with an actual defence in front of him!

BleedClaretAndBlue
Brilliant performance deserves all the credit in the world to come back from that horror debut season. He actually claims the ball really well now, which was his weak point. Was a wall tonight, plenty of good saves and hasnt put a foot wrong this season. Reina will go from backup at Milan to backup at Villa on tonights evidence
bannedfromHandV
Really don’t think we need to waste time and resources in signing another keeper. Nyland proving himself big time at the moment.
