Guest
What a terrific day. I was always confident we would go up this season even through the tough Xmas/New Year period. One of the highlights of my life to be at the game today, outstanding. PS just saw Steve Nicholls on ESPN talking about Villa, what a prat. He obviously doesn't watch Championship games, was saying Villa only have championship players, none are proven in the PL. If your going to be paid to be a pundit at least don't be a lazy one. Can you conceive of us beating Millwall, Bristol, Blackburn and Boro at Home ? And Rotherham, Bolton, and Forest Away ? Throw in a Draw Away at Blues, and a defeat at Wednesday ? Its conceivable If we play as we did today. Thatd leave us on 68 Points, and probably needing 2 Wins against Norwich and Leeds, who could both already be Promoted . Unlikely. But intriguing enough.

fightoffyour Posted May 27, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted May 27, 2019 Cabbage man / boy / girl / lady / identity deserves a statuehttps://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48331145 Quote Fine end to turbulent season Victory at the national stadium brings a successful end to what has been at times tumultuous year for Villa. Days after defeat by Fulham in last season's Championship showpiece it was revealed the club had missed a deadline to pay HM Revenue & Customs £4m and it seemed likely that star player Jack Grealish would have to be sold. With administration a serious concern, Chinese owner Tony Xia eventually sold the club to billionaire businessmen Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris in July. They decided to stick with boss Steve Bruce until October, but after an indifferent start to the season, sacked the 58-year-old after a 3-3 draw with Preston, which had seen an irate fan throw a cabbage at him.
