Davkaus
I've been treated to a dram of a 34 year old blended Gleann Mor Rare Find bottling. Bottled at 55%, lovely fruitiness and citrusness. I typically like my whiskies on the peaty side, but it has none of that, it's just a very fruity, full-bodied whiskey that I want to say is Highland-esque. It's bloody special, and at £280 a bottle, one to nurse for the evening.

I remember when you were happy with a plastic beaker of Bells, or Teachers.

bickster Posted January 26 Moderator Share Posted January 26 I had a pound off coupon for this in Lidl, which made it about £6:50 or thereabouts in Lidl Really fruity merlot/cabernet/petit verdot mix with a subtle oak finish, very easy to drink and even without the quid knocked off I'd buy it and think I'd got good value

Xann
Witkap Pater Stimulo. Trappist beer that goes into the bottle alive, but at only 6% it's easy drinking.
il_serpente Posted March 28 VT Supporter Share Posted March 28 Nice at first, but a little sweet for my liking after the first few sips, and I was having it as dessert.
