In population numbers no, but in moving those people from their land into a smaller and smaller area they are doing a fantastic job.
LondonLax
Also worth having a look at the population change regarding numbers of Jewish people living in Middle Eastern countries (other than Israel) over the past 100 years. It also tells a story of the region.

On that note, it’s worth looking at how Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Morocco and Iraq’s Jews have been doing, even well before Israel’s inception. Many Zionists bang this drum because the proof of what happened and happens to Jews in the countries that now cry foul is definitely not a 5-fold population increase. What’s going on in Gaza is horrible. One horrible doesn’t justify another, but that seems to be the sentiment from both sides in this horrible situation. There’s a big chunk of Israel’s population which are victims of what people now call ethnic cleansing in Arabian nations, now that it happens to Arabs. This conflict won’t end before people start looking ahead, not to take your anger out on kids in Palestine or Israel because your parents were displaced by the other side. sne
Iranian supported Huthi rebels have apparently hijacked a Israeli cargo ship outside Yemen. This could only be bad news. Edit: Israel says the ship is British but it's supposedly owned by Israeli billionaire Abraham ”Rami” Ungar Edited November 19, 2023 by sne

Between 1946 and 1948 800k Palestinians were ‘cleansed’ from their homeland. If that’s not ethnic cleansing then I don’t know what is. https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2017/5/23/the-nakba-did-not-start-or-end-in-1948 Quote Between 1947 and 1949, at least 750,000 Palestinians from a 1.9 million population were made refugees beyond the borders of the state. Zionist forces had taken more than 78 percent of historic Palestine, ethnically cleansed and destroyed about 530 villages and cities, and killed about 15,000 Palestinians in a series of mass atrocities, including more than 70 massacres.

By chance, what do you think happened the the Jews in the West Bank when the Arab League’s leader rolled in there with his army and took over Jerusalem after he’d said that he’ll make the Tatar massacres look kind compared to what he’d do to the Jews? It’s a never-ending circle, someone needs to stop this situation and grow up. That goes for both sides. The IDF have released more ‘material’ today which point to tunnels and pictures of Hamas taking a hostage into Shifa on Oct 7th. At this point we’re in a shit-slinging match where both sides are too deeply involved to stop. The US and Iran can make this stop but likely won’t as it would mean concessions to Iran. At this point the only nation that earns on this is Iran, sadly for Iran’s other neighbours it means that they now have a very good blueprint for destabilising more countries. Saudi Arabia? Qatar? Jordan? Egypt? Take your pick, soon there’ll be an Iran funded terror group in every country in the Middle East.

It's really odd that it's never mentioned by either side I guess both sides would need to admit that they're partially at fault for it, though it's well documented that Hamas have spent serious cash and energy on expanding the tunnels, and even Egypt have done several raids against Hamas when they've tried to connect their tunnels with Egyptian cells. Bomb shelters and concrete tunnels is a must in a country that has been rocketed by their neighbours on and off since 1948, which I guess also makes them great for Hamas to conduct their cowardice from. Israel seems to be employing expanding builder's foam to shut the tunnels and control exits, which seems a fair strategy. Then I guess it's about pouring concrete and iron into all the shafts, and blowing up the rest. I've no doubt that Hamas will just do the same again when Israel inevitably has to focus on other things (Lebanon? Syria?).
