maqroll
I've just found out about this, looks like good fun. Anyone here played it? Also, how do they convince golf clubs to tear up their putting greens? Edited March 7, 2018 by maqroll
Seat68
I believe you can play this at Sandwell Valley. Not tried it myself. Edited March 7, 2018 by Seat68
il_serpente Posted March 7, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted March 7, 2018 I'm off to the kicking range to practice my long game!
Stevo985 Posted March 7, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted March 7, 2018 I’ve played a couple of rounds. Once at Becketts farm and once somewhere in Coventry. It’s good fun, but may depend on the course. The Becketts Farm one was quite shit. Really short holes and not proper greens. The one in cov was much better. El Zen
I’ve tried it once, years ago. The course was shit and the balls provided were as hard as proper golf balls and impossible to manipulate. I like the idea, though.

choffer Posted March 7, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted March 7, 2018 (edited) I've played a few times in Bridgend and Swansea. It's a lot of fun but as @Stevo985 says above, it very much depends on the course. Edited March 7, 2018 by choffer
Stevo985 Posted March 7, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted March 7, 2018 It makes you realise how hard it is to kick a ball in a straight line
supermon
Its good fun, especially when you have to kick the ball over streams and ditches!

I used to play in goal so got quite adept at leathering the ball down the pitch. But at Sunday league level, as long as the ball lands on the field of play, you're fine. Foot Golf requires more accuracy
