Vive_La_Villa
How on earth can anyone's not want Elmo back at RB after the Preston game? When I think of team selections it's clear the problem is the left side of midfield. Wonder if Taylor could play there?

omariqy
Davis may be out with a twisted ankle. Thinking about it I would go Johnstone Elmo Chester Terry Hutton Jedi Thor Sodgrass Grabban Onomah Hogan
omariqy
Sheff Weds are missing 13 first team players. Jordan Rhodes should be back on Saturday but Joao is a doubt. We have no excuses really.

John
I hope the team that attempted to make Small Heath look like Barcelona a couple of weeks ago will turn up rather than the one that did for us last year at Villa Park. We need to get a win and restore our confidence. 2-0 would be very nice.
Nigel Posted February 22, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted February 22, 2018 I have a fear we are in for a Brucy war of attrition here. Problem is that if they score we cant suddenly react and go of the offensive. I can understand his position though, its worked so far so why change things, but we need 3 points. RotaxMax125
Wednesday have big problems with Forister and Bannan out. Those players missing will hurt them more than us being without Jack and Albert. Tough place to play though. Their new manager seems to have tightened up their squad at the back so we will have to keep chipping away at them throughout.

The Fun Factory
I don't think anyone can pick the first XI until we know who is injured/still ill/has a bizarre gardening accident, before the game. I am feeling strangely calm about this, I think we will nick this 2-1, with Bristol doing us a favour on Sunday.
GREAT_BEARD_OF_ZEUS
I'm certain we'll win this one... on the bizarre basis that they won at our place. Football has a weird way of balancing things out - we weren't at the races that day, they scored a worldie etc, things ran for them and I expect the gods to reverse the fortunes on Saturday, it's what happens sometimes. We do need to win too. A loss at the end of such a long winning streak - fine. Then a home draw - not ideal but not the end of the world. To fail to win in three, when you're at this end of the table, then that's when doubt creeps back in and we can't have that.
Lerner's Driver
According to some fella on Facebook who attended the U23 match last night, neither Callum O'Hare nor Russian Hepburn Murphy were involved.

omariqy
Adomah, Grealish and Tuanzebe out for tomorrow. Grabban and Davis are both doubts although judging by Bruce's comments I reckon one of those will make it. O'Hare in the squad.
