They will tear us to bits, in a how to play football sense.

Hard to see anything else happening with the last few performances in mind. Then that really is goodbye top 2 unless we go on a man city run of form after new year or something.

They've dropped off in a similar way to us - home advantage might carry us through.

I'd go:

-------------------------Johnstone--------------------

Hutton------Chester--------Elphick----Taylor

---------------------------Whelan-----------------------

--------------Hourihane-----Grealish-------------

Snodgrass--------------------------------Adomah

---------------------------Davis---------------------------

And I really wish Terry was fit for this one.

They’ve lost 4 out of their last 5 matches, and drew the other at home to Blues. They’re certainly on the slide.

We need to win this to pull away from them and ensure we’re still in the play offs come Boxing Day.

We should beat them.

Grealish needs to start, either with Hogan or Davis if he’s fit.

The thing is they have still been playing far better than we have. I thought they were brilliant against Bristol city and would of gone on to win if it wasn't for the sending off. I don't buy this we should beat them. They have been unlucky that they have been on the run they have. If they play like they have been most of the season, then we will not win. 2.1 to sheff utd.

We will be out of the play off places by time kick off takes place therefore pressure.

If i was bruce i would not let the players know the results prior to kick off as we know how they are when pressure hits.

Bog crowd expected therfore we need to win before two tough away games

I'd like us to start the game with a striker on the pitch.

Took the words off my keyboard.

Every game is now a must win until we are sitting second.

A loss and for me the season may aswell be over.

We should win, so on that basis it will prob be 1-1.

I‘d like to see

                      SJ

    Bree Chester RDL Taylor

Snod Lansbury Onomah Hourihane Adomah

                     Hogan

1st sub would be Grealish for HL/JO

meaning

                      SJ

    Bree Chester RDL Taylor

Snod Lansbury/Onomah Hourihane Adomah

                    Grealish

                     Hogan

2nd sub would be Davis (if fit) (or even Gaby for HL/JO

meaning

                      SJ

      Bree Chester RDL Taylor

Snod Grealish Hourihane Adomah

            Hogan Davis/Gaby

We need to attack till we score and do it again and again till the 90mins is up

Why, what happens if we don't win?

The „ratings & reaction thread“ „Steve Bruce thread“ and the „Promotion thread“ will implode

Followed closely by the DrT Wyness & Round threads

We really need to start beating clubs of a similar size/threat away from home. The likes of Wolves, Cardiff, Derby, Leeds, Sheff W, Norwich, Bristol C (at a stretch) etc.

Second year in the Championship and we still dont look like getting anything at any of these sort of teams. We didnt get much if anything at Necastle, Brighton and Huddersfield either did we?

I think we will beat Sheff U, but then we do tend to beat average teams at home.

Slight change for me, I would Jedi in and push the four forward players on ten yards, and tell them only to come back if any of the back four of Utd came forward. I would also bring Hogan in as it would force us to play on the floor more, with him playing on the shoulder of the last man. Make the opponents worry about the "Fab Four", with the security of the "Solid Six" behind them. :)

If we happened to go behind, I would revert to yours, but Jedi in for Whelan.
