maqroll
What a colossus of an actor. Unheralded when compared to other British actors of that generation. Effortless acting style if you think about it. Big loss. That's two screen icons gone this month, 2017 keeping pace with '16...

Mark Albrighton Posted January 28, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted January 28, 2017 John Hurt was one of those actors who made any film instantly better even if it was a small cameo. A sad loss.

MakemineVanilla
Geoff Nicholls (68): Brummie, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, over many years for Black Sabbath. Played bass when Geezer Butler took a break and first appeared on the album Heaven and Hell but had worked with the band since the 1970s. Here he is in Reddington's Rare Records. veloman
John Wetton - what a fabulous musician; very sad. He came from Willington in South Derbyshire where our club training ride starts from; nobody in the club had ever heard of him ! Philistines !
