Well lads, we've come to the end of another pretty shitty Villa season, but at least we've had a bunch of fun with the predictions

We end the season on a bit of a whimper in terms of big game week scores with only Dem_C and Daniel hitting double figures.

The winner for the 2016/2017 season in Daniel, and he wins it by quite a decent gap. Well done mate! Mr @limpid would you be so kind as to give @Daniel a custom flair as the highest honour?

rubberman comes in second with some fairly consistent scoring in the tail end of the season after missing two entire game weeks.

Dem_C takes third place with a great final game week, that 3rd place spot went right down to the wire.

Chewie tops the table for most points from correct predictions, but lacked in getting the big points from the correct scores, with rubberman taking that honour with 189 points.

None of the final day bets won, and I am still massively pissed off that on one of the weeks i didn't bet i managed to call every result correct

-- Next Season --

We'll go back to doing Premier League predictions for the coming season, it's just too much work trying to get posts up all the time with the fixture congestion in the Championship. What I think we'll do though is include the Villa game each week and we'll have that as a double scoring bonus round.

Top work @chewie - it's been good fun.  What a pathetic final round!  I was obviously on the beach for the last couple of weeks, but congratulations to @daniel for top consistency.  Happy to have clung on to second though.
