Russia and its “Special Operation” in Ukraine

I didn’t realise just how many Russian aircraft Wagner shot down in just a few hours.

Using open sourcing, it says that this includes three Mi-8 MTPR Electronic Warfare helicopters, two attack helicopters – a Ka-52 and Mi-35 – one military transport Mi-8, as well as one Il-22M command plane.

Prigozhin leads a mutiny against Moscow, shoots down a number of their aircraft and kills their crew -> criminal case dropped and offered a place to live in Belarus.

The poor sods just following orders will probably be executed.

Thats justice for you.

Heaviest aircraft losses in a single day since WW2 apparently. Good for Ukraine either way. Especially the Ka-52 which some report Russia have less than 30 left of. It's the only real credible threat to Western armour besides mines when UAF does night time maneuvers.

Three electronic warfare Mi-8 and a IL-22M are also big hits. There were only 20 IL-22Ms ever and the electronic warfare ones are rare and extensive used to jam Ukraine systems.

Luka's off again, trying to be relevant

Lukashenko admitting they (he, Putin, Prigozhin) messed up the situation/region/invasion… Is he now classed as a traitor?

Is he also suggesting that Putin fought at the front? :crylaugh:

Maybe he sat in the front seat of the private jet that evacuated him.

Meanwhile Putin just opened Pandora's Box

Considering he previously declared no the Russian government had no connection to Wagner he's now openly admitting to funding them. So we can summarise from this that Russia has now declared they do in fact sponsor terrorist organisations. I'm not sure a terrorist organisation can be accused of treason either 😂

Putin is still creeping. Praising the Russian army (who did nothing) for stopping the mutiny. And thanking the Russian people (who celebrated with Wagner troops) for their strength.

Just **** Russia man. **** them.

Absolutely disgusting their constant bombing of civilian areas. 10 people killed in that restaurant including 14 year old twin sisters, their life barely getting started. Imagine how the family must be feeling.

Russia will claim it was a military target but it's all utter bullshit. It's deliberate murder of civilians and pure terrorism.  Even if there was some kind of credible military target you surely focus on a different one, not bomb one next to a restaurant.

**** Russia and **** Putin, the **** animal. **** evil word removed.

It’s beyond comprehension now. How can a developed country like Russia fire missiles into civilians daily?

It would be like me leaving the house, indiscriminately stabbing a few people then going home. Then doing it the next day and the next day. It’s just ludicrous that it goes on.

And it achieves NOTHING for them but to stiffen the resolve of the Ukrainian people and The West.

It gives every involved nation more reason to stay with it. It doesn't help in their military objectives at all. It's totally sinister and inhumane.

Terrorists, that’s what they are. It would be nice if the West/Nato armed Ukraine to the teeth and expelled Russia from their land sooner, but saying that they’d still probably send rockets launched from Russia.

West needs to go on a massive anti aircraft/missile building program and line the border with defence shields.  An iron wall.  Leave Russian tech and missiles in the dust

Russia do it because there’s little in terms of punishment for doing it.

Ideally they would be told that for every missile they fire at Ukraine there will be another rocket  coming back at them. It’s obviously not fair on the innocent Russia people but it would give their leaders something to think about before launching theirs.

You blow up a restaurant, we blow up a restaurant.

You blow up an apartment complex, we blow up an apartment complex.

Russia, you can make this stop at any point. I wonder how long the people of Russia would turn a blind eye to what their country are doing then?
