Farlz
I don't like Hutton so it doesn't take much but I do prefer Bree playing
Stevo985 Posted May 7, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted May 7, 2017 Impressed today. Nice to see him settling in. Actually plays football.
Dr_Pangloss
He's a good player, needs to start ahead of Hutton as he is our future.

De Laet will be starting next season I bet, with Bree as his understudy and Hutton hopefully euthanized.

VillaChris
De Laet will back up LB and RB I reckon.
LancsVillan Posted May 8, 2017 Moderator Share Posted May 8, 2017 Played well yday. Every time I see him, warm up or playing, he reminds me of the players you see in old clips from the 20s and 30s very upright and 'proper'
Spoony
So about this guy. What do we reckon we will see this season? Would Hutton or de Laet be starting for now?

Vincenzo
I can see him chipping in with a few goals if played as he has a decent shot on him
The Fun Factory
Is he going to play next year as we have about 20 right backs? Edited July 19, 2017 by The Fun Factory

He's my favourite of our right back selection. He's never put a foot wrong for us. A back four of him, Terry, Chester and Taylor is the best in the division and would more than hold its own in the Prem.
mikeyp102
Obviously has a lot of potential, but still has a hell of lot to learn. Not sure he'll start yet

This sort of player should certainly be starting the season in the team for me.
bobzy
I have no problem with James Bree - he's a young lad learning his trade - but many people slag off Hutton for no end product. Bree's crossing so far has been awful.
HanoiVillan
I was only half watching it really, but he didn't look up to much to me. No problem at all, young lad and all, but I don't need to see him starting too often in the league yet.
Rodders
yes, nothing stand out so far, cup games for him for the time being.
Phumfeinz
Nothing good, nothing bad. Just went about his business with minimal fuss. Definitely what you want compared to Hutton's mad bombing runs.
BigJim
I'd still take Hutton for the moment. Haven't seen anything remarkable from this lad yet.
