Well that’s told us!

Who are we to doubt him? He’s won the group and we’re through to the quarters. Wind your necks in England fans, Southgate knows best. We even scored TWO goals, stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

What next? Same 11 but this time Wharton next to Rice

Wouldn't put it past him to have a three man midfield of Rice-Mainoo-Gallagher and then have Bellingham out wide.

Foden won't be starting the next game that's for sure.

Based on what?

He'll only make a change if trippier is injured,l and forces him to, other than that it'll be same 11

Better to be a lucky general than a good one. Never truer than with this prick.

Using two subs in normal time in a game you’re losing where everyone is playing badly is just beyond insane. There is no possible logic to doing that. Then brings Toney on with two minutes of injury time left. It beggars belief.

Can’t wait for his highly magnanimous post match interview where he intimates that everyone criticising him is a word removed

-  You need to understand that this is tournament football

-  No game is easy

-  The [insert opposition] are a dangerous team

-  Our objective was to progress and we've done that

Next player comes for interview and follows script

Southgate is a lucky ****

I was surprised Foden started today. He missed two days of training so would've been decent excuse to leave him on the bench, Sterling lost his starting place in last World cup for leaving the camp mid tournament.

It's going to be very weak down the left for England next match, Guehi suspended so they'll have to be one change there and Trippier has been as average as expected playing out of position and went off injured.

He’ll get another tournament after we crash out to Switzerland because „how could we win against them?” Or something

Southgate: "Well Swiss People speak multiple languages, how can we can compete against players like that"

Toney was disgusted with him before he came on, the whole nation was disgusted with him for the lack of subs.

Why is he so stubborn. It's like he wants the team to go out.

I genuinely don’t think Southgate is a proud arrogant prick who refuses to pick Gordon because everyone wants him to play. Im sure he believes that the teams he puts out are best suited to get the result. But why the **** not just give Gordon 45 minutes? What’s the worst that could happen? The up side is it totally revolutionises the attack. Try it ffs. I’m not one of those people who think Gordon is the saviour but he did the EXACT thing with Trent. Tried something, didn’t work. And that was a guy out of position. It’s baffling.

The fact Gordon didn’t even get on means there is zero chance he starts next game too so the frustration will continue.
