It'll happen as long as the crop of players are this good. If you've got someone who can lick an overhead kick in the 96th minute or someone who can take a touch and put it into the bottom corner from an impossible angle in the 90th minute, it can happen. Harsh. Southgate’s first choice was Luke Shaw, but he was injured most of the time. Trippier did ok, but only ok. Then again he’s a right back who had a rotten end to last season and looks past his best.
