Gareth "Interesting" Southgate

You only persist with Kane if you have no other options.

England had Watlins and Toney, young, fit, and in form getting a couple of minutes here and there. Pathetic.

As usual.

The record will show him as one of the most successful England managers ever which is frankly insane.

Truth be told, we were shite for 7 games, and rode our luck again and again.

I hope I never see this word removed's face again for the rest of my life.

You just cannot have Kane in your team if you want to win a final man

But you can

But that's her problem, it's not played on a piece of paper, if it was then kane and foden of course start every game but how the **** do you watch 6 games of football and consider that working? How do you not adapt?

That's the madness of Southgate

He should be hung for it in the court of popular opinion

Unfortunately instead he'll go down in history as England's best ever manager

It's amazing how close England got to winning this despite the dogshit performances. The results have been good on paper but Southgate, like pretty much every England manager has been incapable of getting the best out of the talent available.

This was always the worst case scenario, scrapped through by the skin of our teeth with the weakest run to a final you could ever hope for.

We’ve looked brilliant at times when actually forced to play with tempo and attack, after going behind - The complete antithesis of Southgate ball.

The following manager would be lucky to get even one knockout draw as favourable as what Southgate has pulled consistently.

And now you just know the FA will be desperate to extend his deal. Only hope is United sign him, which would be **** glorious.

Depends how you look at it. Winning a world cup supercedes semis and finals imo

Time to go now. Give somebody else a chance of working with a talented bunch of young players

100%

England wouldn't have got to the quarter finals if on the other side of that draw. One of the easiest routes to a final.

We’d have gone out first round if Denmark didn’t do us a favour in the last group match.

Has to be his last game, never drops the players that should have been in the likes of Kane and Foden, stubborn as anything, we should have been knocked out against Slovakia until the last min equaliser, probably the worse football by any team in this tournament

You surely want to see him “managing” Utd?

England in this tournament have reminded me a lot of Man Utd last season: Constantly outplayed but somehow spawning results due to individual moments of quality. So, Southgate would fit right in there!
