dont_do_it_doug.
Ah balls. Well, gap stays at 6. Derby failing to beat Wigan at home too. I wonder if their fans are calling it the worst football they've ever seen.
Nigel Posted December 31, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted December 31, 2016 (edited) So it was, still nobody of note won so the leeds result hasnt cost us. ...and at least Preston have fallen away too Edited December 31, 2016 by Nigel
Popular Post StefanAVFC Posted December 31, 2016 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted December 31, 2016 Also interesting (and not mentioned AFAIK) is that although we are 6 points from the bottom of the playoff places, we are only 8 points from 3rd. All 4 playoff places are up for grabs, rather than just 6th.

I didn't realise that, I was just focusing on that 6th spot and hadn't really looked above.

Demitri_C
I can't see us owing the gap unless we sign another striker. I have my doubts we have many goal scorers in this squad
PaulC
I think we are ok for strikers. Its midfield players we want.
dont_do_it_doug.
A good round for us then. We drew with one of the better teams in the division but didn't lose any ground on the teams above us, allowing for the fact Reading and Fulham are now a game behind (though they can't both win it of course). Would have been nice to have won it but que sera. Not the doomsday scenario predicted. Edited December 31, 2016 by dont_do_it_doug.

KSV
Over to you Dr and Bruce. Make the important signings needed as we won't compete without them. Two midfielders a GK and CB are a must. Striker and RB on loan if we can.
MikeMcKenna Posted January 1, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted January 1, 2017 This is a weird league with everything to play for. I wouldn't count anything out.

JAMAICAN-VILLAN
When things will get exciting is if we win enough games to go into the position of leapfrogging our opponents in the table when we beat them! (Obviously not playing leapfrog on the pitch) Edited January 1, 2017 by JAMAICAN-VILLAN

Demitri_C
I know looking like a long shot but playing Leeds in the play offs I don't feel confident. For me we would have to have second leg at villa park as could see us crumbling second leg away from home
