villalad21
Hilarious that he keeps getting results. His players must really love the guy. Our squad had enough of him after just one full season. I'm still fully convinced Whelan missed that pen on purpose. Keyblade
Ancellotti sounded dumbfounded in his post-match interview. That's 4 points off him and Mourinho so far this season for Bruce.
TrentVilla Posted November 2, 2020 Moderator Share Posted November 2, 2020 I can’t believe the ‘penalty’ they got yesterday, ridiculous.

Goals come from anywhere, corners, free kicks, dubious penalties, hit and hope cross. There are infinite ways for them to hurt teams and they're all bollocks. Defensively there's no shape to exploit, you can't catch them in transition because they don't try to attack, fully confident that once they do get into the opponents half a goal will just sort of happen. In a world of false 9's, pressing triggers and playing out from the back Bruce doesn't give a **** he's here to put points on the board. HanoiVillan
I am being somewhat trollish, but also with real seriousness, when I say I hope they finish in the Champions League places playing like this. The cognitive dissonance might cause Geordies heads to explode like in a sci-fi film.
Tomaszk
I'll be appauled at the squad and Smith if we get anything less than 4 points off them under that clown.

I was saying in the other thread, that 76% save percentage + Wilson's 86% conversion rate is saving some blushes. They are dire. Got flashbacks to us under Mcleish there.

Tomaszk
Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser hamstring injuries. Quite a weak league this year. How they've got more points than Leeds, Brighton and Sheffield Utd I do not know.

With Wilson out that could be drying out as well.

villa4europe
comment from a Newcastle fan on another forum im on - Brice literally has us doing anything but pass on the training ground. Under Bruce our players just seem massively thick, they never make the simple and obvious pass that would relieve pressure and possibly open up the opposition. They kick the ball out at time when they could play it out with the options. They never move to create space, and they will run into traffic when they do have the ball. They actually look thick as owt, yet under Rafa the same players made good decisions.
