Popular Post screwdriver
Allardyce would be brilliant. He's got connections with all the top agents. He signed truely world class talent for Bolton. Okatcha and Djorkeff I've visualised him walking down the tunnel already, cap in hand grobbelaar esque whilst the adoring fans throw their loose change at him. Being from the west midlands he would know what it means. I've always said long ball is the key to promotion. We have Rudi Gestede. We have players who can launch it. No more messing about at the back by Elphick. It would be rudi's head or row Z. simple. I think big sam is meant to be just like big ron was. **** the FA. what have they ever done for us? Rememeber Arseshaving signing outside the transfer window....rememeber being the only club getting done for tapping up players....remember being fined for celebrations in the FA cup...remember Beneteke being sent off for nothing agasint spurs?
rubberman
Have I got this right? Of our last failed permanent managers, there are people who would like Lambert, Sherwood and Garde back. I suppose we are unanimous about McLeish thankfully, but really...move on people.
GodsBarkeep
According to oddschecker Pearson has taken the most money with 25% of the market. Moyes second with 19% and Sherwood third with 8%! Bruce is 4th, just behind with 7%

alreadyexists Posted October 3, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted October 3, 2016 (edited) It's hard to choose any manager as they don't fully rhyme with the model of a car in which Doctor Tony could go somewhere to bring us back a manager in. Sad times. I hope it's Bruce. Edited October 3, 2016 by alreadyexists

AndyHowell
The problem with Big Sam is that he could well be banned from the game for a period. You can imagine us signing him and then 2 weeks later loosing him. well, I can imagine it anyway. I suspect we need a good old fashioned, tried and tested English manager. I suspect that means Steve Bruce which I wouldn't mind too much.

Condimentalist
It's a shame Southgate isn't available. I'll throw my support behind whoever we appoint, although the field is largely uninspiring. I think Bruce is the obvious choice.
