Nicho
Gary Oldman - Leon. My memory of watching it as a kid probably far out weighs what it actually was Edward Norton - American History X Bradd Pitt - 12 Monkeys Russel Crowe - A Beautiful Mind Samuel L Jackson - Pulp Fiction Ralph Fiennes - In Bruges Then I second Robert Carlyle - Trainspotting & Ben Kingsley - Sexy Beast it seems the most unhinged become the most memorable. I was brought up on the old Universal studio horror movies, and so Young Frankenstein is an absolute wet dream from a reference point of view. Brooks treated the whole genre with a respectful reverence and that shines through loud and clear. The writing is fantastic and at some points hysterically funny without feeling the need to cheapen the source material. As for Wilder in that role? An absolutely pitch perfect comedic performance. His timing and delivery of the lines were both top notch. He really was a superb actor when he was on his game. Brilliant movie, brilliant comedy performance.

hogso
This kid didn't really have much screen time in Looper, and it's inclusion could possibly be construed as a spoiler, I guess. Pierce Gagnon as Cid. Awesome. I will watch that film awaiting his arrival in it, knowing the shitstorm that is to come, and thoroughly enjoy it every time. In truth he doesn't even really do that much, but what he does do is great. And given that the thread is about characters as well, the reveal of who he is /becomes/may become is a good one. Probably more memorable cos he was so young. In the new series of Twin Peaks, hopefully he is a really mean **** then too. Seeing as I've started, I'll stick with the 'kids' theme - let's say 14 and under. Jodie Foster as Iris in Taxi Driver Natalie Portman as Mathilda in Leon Christian Bale in Empire of the Sun Henry Thomas as Elliot in ET
