I still remember them getting into the Premier League! And Frank Bunn's 6 goals in one game in the cup against a lower league team.... Scarborough at a guess!
Rugeley Villa
Always remember Oldham as the team who ended our title challenge in the first season of the prem. Boundary park in the winter months was a hard place to watch football.
Designer1 Posted January 14, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted January 14, 2017 I used to design the Oldham match programme when they were in the Premier League. #funfact

PaulC
A goal for Robinson today. I think that's 7 for the season. shame we didn't persist with him instead of giving Gabby a new contract
Popular Post KHV
I always remember that Oldham had really poorly designed matchday programmes when they were in the premier league

I think they scored 7 that night and Bunn did indeed bag 6. I think Andy Ritchie may have got the other. They also reached the FA Cup semis at our expense in 1990. They had a decent side back then. BOF Posted January 16, 2017 Moderator Share Posted January 16, 2017 A visual aid. The points distribution table. The league is just beginning to stretch its legs now. Not just the automatic places. Even the playoff sides are making a gap.
