jacketspuds
RIP Dalian. Despite the fact that I'm not from the Birmingham area you were one of the reasons I started supporting Aston Villa and I will always be genuinely thankful for that. So sad. My first game too! Did you get them free from the Villa course at QEMS? (You're from Tamworth iirc)

Popular Post Dom_Wren
Absolutely gutted....story of when i met him: Got into the players lounge as a nipper thru Sean Teale and was in my Atkinson 10 shirt, saw him and shouted "D!" and turned and showed him my shirt, he smiled that lovely big smile he always had and gave me the thumbs up. Never forget that memory for as long as i live. RIP D. Ledge.

Popular Post VILLAMARV
Great memories already mentioned but shout out for the great debut. Goal and an assist against his former club managed by Trevor Francis!! Still my favourite away game ever. I texted my dad to thank him for the tickets again this afternoon 25 years on.

Fight Like Lions
Thanks for the memories Dalian, I was 10 in 1994 and you were my favourite player so it was always going to be your number that I proudly displayed on my first Villa shirt. Loved watching you play, scored some fantastic goals but the League Cup Final win of 1994 will always be the most memorable. A stark reminder to live each day to the full and count your blessings. Rest In Peace #10
