Yes and I have often wondered what John Terry's take is on this very point! Like has he had a chat with Chester? I am sure he has. If he isn't fit or needs a rest then do that for a couple of games. I know it's the one area that we are particularly short but go with Elphick and Hause for a few games and give Chester the break some on here say he needs. As far as I have heard Chester has been carrying a knee injury/complaint since the Wales game, but has played through the pain barrier as we literally had no defenders. Stockport_Villain
He is so weak with the long ball over the top. Always get caught ball watching and is never aware of where the opposition player is. Yes, he scores goals but not as many as he is at fault for conceding. Having a very poor season. AVTuco Posted January 20, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted January 20, 2019 Poor season, but he saved our asses yesterday. That's pretty clear to me.

A Obvious to anyone who watches the game he is at about 50%. Needs an operation. Doing himself no favours because nobody will appreciate it and he is only damanging himself and his reputation at this point. Thankless task.
Zatman
Yeah if he injured he shouldnt be playing and no harm going with Hause and Elphick for couple of games until Axel is back

sne
I assume the medical team has made sure he is not aggravating his injury by playing, but he really should not be playing anymore now that we got some sort of cover brought in. Time to get our Hause in order so Chester can get surgery or whatever he needs.
Reivax_Villa
For him to be in that condition and continue to play games and score goals.. My respect for him has gone up even higher. However what is most important is that he gets surgery as soon as possible.

Farlz
If he's not training and barely walking then he absolutely needs to be taken out and have this injury treated. Poor bloke is going to have no career left if he keeps playing through it.
