It's a bit harsh though as he's dead. They were mortified to discover that the candidate had passed away. No this isn't a pun, it's the wording they actually used.

Constant references to things being taken away from us, things are not as good as they used to be, and a general blaming of the government but not really being able to exactly say what for. But all along an undertone of it all being about foreigners. Which at the end of the day is probably right as it will be Russia and China lurking in the shadows of the Internet poking the bear.
sidcow Posted April 26 VT Supporter Share Posted April 26 (edited) And of course the irony that their decreasing circumstances have almost entirely been driven by exactly the kind of Government they seem to want and if an even more right wing Government came to power their circumstances would almost certainly get far worse. Look at Argentina, they are all saying the same thing about the elites not looking after them and voted in a nutter who is dismantling society. Genie
With the local elections coming up it’s scary just how many people think reform are the answer. An alternative to the old guard of Tory and Labour, a refreshing new party who are actually on the side of the people. They are an extreme version of the worst of part of the current failing government, yet considered the saviours by many.
