alreadyexists Posted January 25, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted January 25, 2017 I'm pretty sure the training regime didn't make him concede a goal at 89 mins for four or five games, or do dodgy clearances or dodgy goal kicks. I liked the lad and was willing to give him a lot of time to improve... but his worst errors came under RDM when we had an Italian goalkeeping coach. So it doesn't really add up. We'll have to disagree on that one Trent, and I reckon it's far more than just goalkeeping coaching issues.

From his interview the biggest issue he had was that the condition he had set to stay in Birmingham was an Italian goalkeeping coach. That doesn't suggest there are still flaws at the club that suggests a flaw in the mentality of Gollini and him looking for an excuse as to why he left other than the fact some poor form had seen him replaced.

Demitri_C
So you want our goal keeping coach to remain Italian just to suit your needs? Sounds like a idiot to me

Stratvillan
It does show that when we all jump to judgements when players are sold / moved on , we never quite know the full reasons. ( I was annoyed when Golini moved on) now I'm not! Wonder what we don't know about rmc.
Villarocker
That Italian goalkeeping coach was good at teaching him to kick the ball straight at opposing players. He must have been gutted when Walsh joined the club and told him that the idea is to miss them!
rodders0223
Seriously, where the hell do we get these dickheads from? Getting dictated to now by an absolute nobody. Bye Bye Gollini, you won't be missed. Nobody gives a **** about you.
Farlz
Demanding an Italian goalkeeping coach is just ridiculous.
tinker Posted January 25, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted January 25, 2017 We seem to be the only club that pays millions for players who then decide they want a free move / loan to another club. How come this only happens to us? Who writes the contracts?

I'm going to call my business partner up in the morning and tell him that from now on, we're only employing people from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I simply won't work with anyone not from the Democratic Republic of Congo. If he doesn't like it, that's his problem. Idiot.
