It's Your Round
Roll up, roll up come and test your skill at the Villa Striker, the coconut shy where you can have 100 shots for a tenner and still not hit the target!
Sam3773
Bumper cars with Collymore. The cars are mostly parked and don't move.
sidcow Posted May 22, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted May 22, 2016 I think Flabby has already started the process of putting the rides together. I saw a photo of him a few weeks ago trying to get his hands on a Zipper in a Mayfair hotel room.

And you thought Lerner was bad. Please do tell what else happens in the future? Whats the lotto numbers for Saturday? To call him a clown and comparing him to Lerner with no foundation is ludicrous. He's not had chance to do anything yet and he's already written off as worse than Lerner. He couldn't do much worse.

LakotaDakota
I would imagine it would be something more along the lines of Resort world next to the lg arena at birmingham international. Casino, Spa, Hotel, shopping, cinema, bars, restaurants, conference centre etc all under one roof. Slap some villa/recon branding all over and incorporate villa village/clubshop etc and it would seem to be a good idea. Would even be good for fans in this country/europe who travel a distance to games, stay within walking distance of the ground, with plenty to do to make a weekend of it etc
villa4europe
yeah i think thats what they'll do too, not expecting roller coasters, something similar to resorts world, id be worried if i owned star city something to attract chinese tourists, im lazily going to throw in some outlet shopping being there
TheStagMan
Plus, lets face it - the area around the ground is mostly a dump - regeneration of the immediate area would be fantastic (and possibly offer jobs to those recently made redundant), it would work the whole Villa brand and provide additional revenue streams to the club. It would surely have to be indoors, could have a football museum, some neat electronic footie games and tests of skill with the cinema, restaurant's and conference facility, etc. Tourists at weekends, business conferences during week. having said all that I still don't know how it would all work given the location and what is available around it. Great for home games trips but the rest of year???
