It's probably because trying to make it look nicer outside will cost money and have no return. Ripping out the corporate areas and smartening them up every 10 years does. I took it that they were in the edge of the rows in the stands, only because I’m sure when they were mentioned last season by Heck he said they would be all stands except the Holte. Yep, I thought it would be in the divider between the Upper and Lower stands, but I couldn't see anything on the Trinity in that interview. There's a lot of dust and debris and equipment around the place from the building works and getting all that dust out will be difficult. I think we'll need to be a little understanding of the state of some of the concourses, this is pretty much a building site that's been cleaned for the day. If you're in Hospitality, there's every chance that the furniture you're going to sit on is only going to get unwrapped in the morning and I have a feeling there will be a lot of people working overnight at Villa Park tonight. It might be a bit dusty, there might be a bit of scaffolding about, a few fenced off bits, some stuff under wraps and a couple of loose bits here and there, but it's home, it's undergoing a massive change and we might need to be a little bit patient over the next few weeks while it emerges from its slumber. 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There simply has to be a new stand. If there is, there's no way we're looking at doing it before the Euros in 2028. The semi-permanent fan zone is there for two years and then UEFA like any construction finished a full season before the start of their tournaments - building work could in theory start in the summer of 2029 with an opening for the 2031-32 season.
