I wonder if with all the work that's going on and the tight schedules in terms of getting things open for the new season, whether we'll see our first couple of games being away from home.

There's an awful lot of work going on.

Still plenty of time with 73 days left until the season kicks off …

There's loads of time

Modular build offers time benefits

McDonald’s has developed standardised designs for its new build drive-thru restaurants, for one-storey and two-storey buildings. Its units are all prefabricated by offsite construction specialist Elliott Group in 12 weeks and then constructed on site in five weeks.

I am sure we will be first to know with our ceo public relations expert. Expect a one-liner a week before the season with his next interview with Gabby saying we won't be ready til September with no actual description of what is happening at Villa Park.

Willy Wonka was more open in his locked factory and the  Oompa-Loompas workforce than our current regime.

I don’t understand when one the main matrixes used is social media engagement & reach when negotiating commercial partnerships etc. the club aren’t move active on social media with what works are going on - I mean we have a content creation department whose job is to help expand the brand … but radio silence about the works this summer… I mean it’s not difficult to put someone thing like this together is it

Don't think they'll be able to fit PROMOTED on that

As nice as it would be to receive any kind of communication from our club... if they start releasing films recorded on a phone held in portrait I might have to unfollow them.

The construction companies I've worked for in the past would absolutely not let anyone, and I mean anyone not the client, not the site management, not the workers themselves put anything like that out

3 seconds in the guy on the left has a baseball cap on rather than a safety helmet, get him off site

I get that with social media and the modern world we live in theres a demand to always be told and shown everything but the club have no obligation to do so

Isn't that in the wrong stand?

You mean in the pictures? I.E the hospitality is in the DE stand and the DE stand is in the background? Just a render wouldn’t worry too much about it.

I wonder how many of the £14,000 places there are?

I'm guessing it's the old directors club level so maybe a hundred or so - if it's a hundred, that's the equivalent of about 1,800 season ticket holders.

You can see why the club is driven to enhance these spaces.

It would be interesting to see the balance for this coming season between the income from GA seats, the income from hospitality and the income from GA+

If we get to 3,000 hospitality this season at an average of say £7,000 that'll be either very close to, or in excess of, the amount we make from GA season ticket holders

It’s certainly a good money spinner if the appetite is there for it.

I’m just awaiting my invite to the Chairman’s suite any day now…!
