Long trip If going through the UK is a nightmare, it’ll make a fortune. If it turns out to be no big problem, it’ll stop running within weeks. The dream is to get back as close as possible to how things used to be. What a sorry state of affairs. Where are all the people telling us how we’re going to thrive out of the EU? Except we probably won’t be able to export them at a competitive price anymore, or at a speed that would make it suitable to sell in Spain. You’d have to put in an awful lot of effort to make more of a shitshow of this than we have. It’s quite impressive when you stand back and look at it. Quote Similar to fish. People don't want mackerel or herring and chips so we export nearly all of it and buy cod in from abroad. They were due to go home today but have stayed for another full day of discussions tomorrow. France have chipped in to say they might veto a deal if they aren’t happy with it. Probably putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 but it makes me wonder if EU are starting to blink a bit? They are coming to us over and over, then staying extra days. They really want to sort something out it seems. It’s the same old snags as before though (state aid, fishing access etc) so it makes me wonder what they are talking about all day every day?
