Thanks for that, David! That was great. I loved how you squarely put the blame where it belongs in a "systematic destruction" of the club. That's the important message. We took over Call Collymore tonight! In fairness to Stan, he really pushed both @DK82 and myself but gave as much backing as can possibly be expected. He pretty much gave us the whole show. Perhaps he has been holding back until today specifically for various reasons, I dunno, either way happy he's given us the exposure we need. Popular Post Artetasgirl Posted February 28, 2016 Visiting Supporter Popular Post Share Posted February 28, 2016 Don't come on here much anymore but just to throw in my tuppence worth from an outside perspective. Haven't read any of the thread but followed a but on social media and I'd be fully behind this campaign if I was a Villa fan. I know a fair few great Villa fans and out of every club in the league, Villa has always been the one I most had an affinity for. Our clubs are so similar in so many ways and only a few years ago we were both challenging up the top and enjoying an exciting rivalry of sorts. It hurts me as a football fan to see a proper, real football club with a heart and soul that so reminds me of Everton, struggling as you are right now. It's incredibly frustrating that their has not been more pressure on the board from the media, who overlook us less glamourous clubs nowadays it seems. I believe this starting point is a great starting point to build a campaign, and I wholly understand some people's reasons for not participating but at times like this, you need to be united as at the end of the day, you're all Villa fans and noone is a better fan for taking part or not! I wish you good luck. I'll be there on Tuesday and I hope my fellow Evertonians will be supporting all you who do decide to leave, as it makes a statement from fans to the people at the top that the fans are everything, and without them the clubs are nothing. You'll all still be here long after every single one of them are gone. That's what your fighting for! Anyway, I've rambled on enough but I wish you all the best in your campaign, I really hope some good can come your way from it. All the best for the future too, get rid of the rotten core and hope you can grow again. Good luck.
dont_do_it_doug.
Thanks Lucy. If you want to join us in walking out you are more than welcome. In fact, fancy handing out a few flyers before the game?

Yes well, there is that! Though it's more of a posh scouse twang. Slow it down and you could pass for brummy.

ferguson1
Can I ask and apologies if this has already been addressed previously but in what manner do people think we should leave the stadium at the 74th minute? I was discussing this with my father last night and we both agreed that fans getting out of their seats and walking out in more or less silence has a far greater impact, then leaving the ground singing/chanting. What does everybody else think? Additionally, listening to some of you talk to Stan last night, wouldn't it be great for publicity if Stan just put his headphones down during commentary and walked out with us on Tuesday. I for one would shake his hand outside if he did. He would of course be allowed to go back in at the final whistle to host his post match show! Good on DDID and DK82 talking on the show last night by the way, real feeling and passion there!! Ps Please don't anyone suggest leaving in a 'Conga' style departure! Although, I would want to be the one photographed behind Deadly Doug if we did though Edited February 28, 2016 by ferguson1

Wainy316
Where did you hear that? He said it on the radio talking to one of you two! He said he was at Liverpool on Wed but if it didn't clash with Villa he'd go and do it. Then he found out it was Tuesday and said he would go and he'd go in the upper Holte and take his son who is also a lifelong Villan.
