Or you could spin it Newcastle with half their squad from France would be totally unprepared for championship football while a yo yo team like Norwich would be with their squad, probably Bournemouth aswell. Let's have another high profile media team to go down to share the embarrassment.
Zatman
no way, another high profile team means less Villa games on the TV for us suffering fans from abroad also Newcastle would romp the CHampionship again and have players that have experience of the league like Coloccini, Colback, Lascelles, Taylor even Krul was in squad last time around
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Arsenal got away with that one.
VillaChris
2-0, Long thinks Arsenal are wearing claret and blue shirts. In fairness he's given the Arsenal back 4 a torrid time, always been an underrated striker in my book.
VillaChris
Bad result for Arsenal but they have got Bournemouth and Newcastle back to back home games while Man. City have got Leicester and Watford away without Kompany so all is not lost.
Zatman
classic Arsenal performance, beat City and **** up against a team in no form this is why they will never win the league under Wenger
Zatman
poor from Koscielny for the goal, a top defender would be strong in that situation
VillaChris
Southampton have been out of form but they still have lots of quality in Mane and Wanyama.

VillaChris
They just need to win the two home games and they'll probably be top, it's a bad day at the office and they happen, especially in the xmas period when players are dead on their feet. Looking at it they'll have to aswell as afterwards they have back to back away games at Liverpool and Stoke and then home to Chelsea who might have picked up by then so if there's going to be an Arsenal slump in the league it will be during that period. VillaChris
You'd think Ireland would go with Walters and Long upfront....a more hardworking front two you couldn't find in Football.
Zatman
yeah but for some reason the word removed of an Ireland manager doesnt rate Long and prefers Daryl Murphy
gharperr
I must be getting trolled about kos surely? Especially about kos doing more for 2nd goal lol. Wasn't his greatest game but jfc, 'poor' for being tripped over then high line with no proper midfield. Genuinely curious if people understand about high line /high variance defence especially + with being a goal behind. Its funny. Its not even close he's best defender in prem ATM and past 2/3 years (I predict short memory posts about kompany due to man city stats past month..)
