Or, because MPs might think Badenoch would have more chance of beating Cleverly, do a load of Jenrick's supporters desert him because they'd prioritise beating Cleverly over particularly supporting Jenrick? What happens if it's Cleverly 50 Jenrick 35 Badenoch 35? That might be fun. Rock, paper, scissors.
Jon
Despite being an odious prick, Cleverley is the 'sensible ' option for MPs/members. But if Bad Knock gets on the final ballot, I think she wins. If it's Cleverley Vs Jenny, who knows? I can't see Bad Knock getting the numbers though now to get onto that final ballot, which is a shame .... OutByEaster? Posted 5 hours ago Moderator Share Posted 5 hours ago None of these are in the slightest bit competent or sane are they? I wonder who will be leader in a few years time when we next have an election.

This is the most bizarre thing, they are all still promising to implement some of the policies which the public already rejected. They are still so lost they aren’t comfortable with sensible ideas that will actually help the people of the UK, just recycling the radical old shit because that’s what they think the party members want, even though they know the majority of the public do not.

It's like becoming leader is the prize - they know it won't be for long, they know they're not going to do anything useful when they get there, they know they're completely unelectable - it's just about being able to say they were leader for a bit.
