Swanning around wasting her time on vanity projects, never doing any parliamentary work but getting paid anyway? Has anyone told her she's not got her seat in the lords?

It's difficult for her to quit completely until she's found new £45k a year jobs for her two daughters who work in her office.

And a cheap bar

I reckon there’s enough material to have a 24 hour news channel dedicated solely to the Tory party.

It's called GB News but isn't what you were wishing for

Has Johnson handed over his phone yet? Any reporting on that or are we just supposed to pretend the only thing to talk about is Huw Edwards?

Of course not

(Can't copy/paste text from the BBC News app) - what does 'stuck on his phone mean'?

A cynic would suspect that they're inaccessible after the phone was accidentally plunged into corrosive fluids, hit with a hammer and put through a shredder.

Seems like they've u-turned on the recommned pay for teachers. And it seems like it's being funded, which was a huge issue last time.

Still below private sector increases and still below what Scottish teachers got.

The previous offer of 4.3% was coming from extra funding. This increased of of 6.5% means the extra 2.2% will have to come from existing funding.

With average pay rises in private sector at 7%, inflation being around 10% and real terms pay cuts for teachers of over 10% since 2010 then it is hardly a good offer is it but as good as these bastards will stump up.

Yep.

The fact they threatened to give nothing last week is going to make some people feel like this is a win.

Question: why does this actually matter?

He's not having WhatsApp conversations on his own. What information is only found on that phone and not in the same chat logs in the evidence provided by Cummings, Hancock, Sunak, Whitty, Raab, Valance etc etc?

Can they not let Piers Morgan have a crack at it?

No wonder she hasn't resigned, she's got a few more hopeful angles to persue. I'll actually kind of miss Mad Nads when she finally loses her seat.

Quote

Britain’s most senior civil servant has reported Nadine Dorries, the former cabinet minister, to the Commons Speaker over a “forceful” message he said she sent him suggesting she be added to Liz Truss’s resignation honours list.

The Times has been told that Dorries sent a WhatsApp message to Simon Case, the cabinet secretary, asking directly if she could be included on Truss’s future list of peers after being blocked from receiving a peerage in Boris Johnson’s resignation honours list.

She was also accused of saying that she would be prepared to use her platform in the Commons to criticise the government and establish why she had been taken off Johnson’s list.

I suppose from a technical point of view they could be at the recipient end as well. It matters because it shows the utter contempt the man and the party he used to belong to have to the inquiry into the deaths of more than 100,000 Britons.

He should have been more than happy to cooperate fully but instead they all have to drag this thing out for reasons I think we can all gather.

Oh and I don’t believe he doesn’t remember his **** password either. Utter scum.
