I think we can draw a line under this now that she’s made such a fulsome and heartfelt apology.

Time to move on to what the people of this country really blah blah blah.

The apologies are getting beyond tedious.

For once it would be great if someone just owned it. ‘Yeah I said it, and I’d say it again because it’s what I believe, sue me’.

At least I could admire their conviction even if i fundamentally disagreed with their view.

Many people of the boomer generation, were born in an NHS hospital, lived in a council house, had a free university education, plus student grants, and went on to work their whole life in government instutions or state-owned enterprises, and now enjoy pensions underwritten by the state.

In short, they have lived in a socialist bubble all their lives.

This is me, in every detail.

She said it but it’s not her view? What the **** does that mean? Was she lying to make herself look cool? Pathetic, every last one of them.

I predict at least some of the first batch sent to Rwanda will immediately come straight back to the UK.

I’d also predict a new crop of people traffickers to setup in Rwanda promising to get these people back to the English channel again.

"If the people are starving and have no beef to eat why don't they simply eat venison?"

Holy **** that is real!  I thought it had to be a bit of satire.

Spend all your time at your second home so you can claim 100% of your living costs back on expenses.

That it happened once, is all the proof you need that it can happen again.

I think we have to thank the Germans and the two World Wars for initiating the social and political upheaval which accured in the aftermath of both.

Between the wars 52,000 council houses were built by the Conservative-controlled Birmingham city council.

The so-called post-war concensus after WW2, was to bring massive changes in social attitudes and increased social mobility.

Such disastrous events are known to have created watershed moments in social history.

It is not impossible that the unfolding economic consequences of the pandemic, may be the trigger for further seismic shifts in British society.

The WEF seem to have been predicting such an outcome, but that may be just wishful-thinking on their behalf.

Just dipped into the Grauniad webiste which says Johnson is being interviewed. I immediately thought it meant the Met but sadly its LBC.

If he was suspected of murder they’d (very reluctantly) send him a questionnaire in 12 months time.
